Jared and I met in February of 2006. I was attending a show at Lock Stock for his band, Ambient Green. After a few drinks, I rendered myself intoxicatingly charming and swept him off his feet! Of course, he may tell the story differently, but either way, he asked me out and the rest is history!

He proposed on Valentine's Day 2009 in Dubuque, IA, after a day of him teaching me how to ski. We finished with cups of warm cocoa with Bailey's in the lodge watching the sunset over the mountains.
